HONOR Presents ‘The Cultural Experience at HONOR’ Exhibition in Mexico to Celebrate UNESCO-MONDIACULT 2022 World Conference

HONOR showcases the infinite possibilities at the intersection of art and technology

[Mexico City, Mexico – October 17, 2022] – Global technology brand HONOR today announced that it is hosting a cultural exhibition titled “The Cultural Experience at HONOR” in support of MONDIACULT 2022, the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development. Promoting cultural and creative industries, HONOR’s exhibition presents 35 winning creative art and photography pieces from the HONOR Talents, HONOR Magic Moments competitions, and “Travel in Mexico” campaign. The HONOR exhibition is hosted at Los Pinos, the same cultural complex where the UNESCO conference was recently held, and the exhibition will last until October 29.

Three Distinct platforms to Spotlight Culture and Creativity

Open to the public until October 29, the HONOR exhibition showcases 35 pieces of artworks in three different platforms– HONOR Talents, HONOR Magic Moments, and Travel in Mexico.

The winning pieces of the HONOR Talents Global Design Awards show how the creative individuals interpreting nature and culture, while the winning photography works of the HONOR Magic Moments Awards genuinely capture the vibrant lives of people all around the world. As for Travel in Mexico, renowned photographer Susana Portillo presents the rich cultural diversity of her home country Mexico with stunning photos that she took in more than 20 states, all shot on the HONOR 70 smartphone.

The World’s Largest Cultural Conference in the Past 40 Years

The Cultural Experience at HONOR exhibition is a celebration of MONDIACULT 2022, which was convened by UNESCO 40 years after the first edition of MONDICULT in 1982. Nearly 2,600 participants from over 130 countries were invited to join the conference this year, including 135 Ministers of Culture and representatives from 83 non-profit organizations, 32 inter-governmental organizations and 9 UN system agencies.

At MONDIACULT 2022, the participants reviewed existing cultural policies and determined present and future priorities in response to global challenges, setting clear roadmaps for international cultural development to maximize the impact that culture can make on sustainability.
