Terms & Conditions – Honor Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Honor”) x GALXBOY.

1. The GALXBOY promotion is organised and administered by Honor. The promotion is not in collaboration with any other third-parties, save that the voucher will be sourced from Galxboy..
2. Each person entering the promotion (Participants/you) and/or accepting the prize in terms of this promotion agrees and accepts that they are bound by the promotion rules as set out in these terms and conditions, including, any other general competition terms and conditions referred to in this document.

Eligibility

1. To be eligible to participate in this promotion, the participant must a natural person over the age of 18 years and resident in South Africa and must Purchase a HONOR 200 series device and at any participating store (only stores within, Durban –Pavilion, Cape Town – Waterfront and, Johannesburg – Mall of Africa.)
2. The promotion is not open to juristic persons, directors, members, partners, agents, employees, or consultants of Honor or any supplier of goods or services in connection with the promotion; and the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, or the natural or adopted parent, child, or sibling, of any of the persons specified in above.

Promotion details

1. Stand a chance to win 1 of 30 Galxboy vouchers when you purchase an Honor 200 series device at a participating store.

1. The promotion shall be run at the three listed malls only, as follows –
1. Durban – Pavilion, the promotion starts on 21 September 2024 and ends on 28 September 2024.
2. Cape Town – Waterfront, the promotion starts on 27 September 2024 and ends on 5 October 2024.
3. Johannesburg – Mall of Africa, the promotion starts on 3 October 2024 and ends on 10 October 2024.
2. The vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. Honor series devices purchased before or after the above stated promotion periods will not be considered for the promotion.

Voucher details

1. The voucher is valued at R500.00 and may be redeemed in store at any Galxboy store nationwide.
2. To redeem the voucher a participant must produce a valid identity document as well as a valid proof of purchase of an Honor 200 series device, within the relevant period and at one of the participating Malls.
3. Use of the voucher will be subject to the standard terms and conditions for use of such voucher as set by Galxboy, including expiry date and any other relevant terms.
4. The voucher is non-transferable, non-refundable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other items. We reserve the right to substitute the voucher with any other prize of comparable commercial value.

General Terms and Conditions

1. By participating in the promotion, you will be deemed to have read, acknowledged, understood and accepted these rules, terms, and conditions.
2. By entering the promotion, you agree to Honor’s Privacy Statement which sets out our commitment to data processing, retention and safeguarding practices relating to your Personal data Privacy Statement may be accessed via our Global website - https://www.honor.com/global/. You further consent to Honor and/or its third-party service providers processing your Personal Information as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013, as amended, for purposes of the promotion which may entail us sharing your Personal Information with our third-party service providers.
3. Participants, by virtue of their entry into the competition, give Honor consent to publish on Honor’s official social media platforms and other official platforms their name(s), surname(s) and/or photograph(s) should they be selected as a winner(s). The Participants may also be requested to participate in marketing activities, including having their photographs taken, being interviewed on camera or otherwise, or being filmed. The Participants acknowledge that this information may be used for future marketing activities by Honor and its affiliates and that the Participants will not be entitled to any form of remuneration for such use.
4. Honor reserves the right to request such documents as it may deem necessary to verify the identity of the participant. Should the participant not provide such documents, the participant shall be disqualified from the competition and/or forfeit the voucher / prize
5. Honor’s decisions in respect of all promotion related matters are final and no correspondence will be entered into or appeals considered. Honor will not be responsible for or answerable to any disputes arising from the promotion or awarding of prize(s).
6. Should Honor make any indulgence or deviate from these terms and conditions such indulgence or deviation shall not be misconstrued to be a breach or waiver of these terms and conditions and/or any rights of Honor.
7. Honor reserves the right to cancel, modify or amend the competition at any time if circumstances arise outside if its control or should it, in its sole opinion, deem necessary.
8. It the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the voucher is claimed and redeemed while stocks last. Without limitation, we and our affiliates are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer hardware or software failure or malfunction, traffic congestion (whether physical, or on the Internet, telephone lines or at any service provider, website or other device or medium), or any combination thereof, or any other technical or other problems which may result in the Participant not claiming / redeeming the voucher timeously..
9. Honor, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, their directors, officers, management, employees, agents, service providers, contractors and representatives accept no liability whatsoever for the harm, injury or loss (including pure economic loss) or destruction of or damage to any property of the participant and/or prize winner(s) and/or their invitees howsoever and whensoever caused.
10. The above clauses are severable from each other. If any clause or part thereof is found to be unenforceable by operation of law, then such clause or part thereof shall be severed from these terms and conditions, and the remaining clauses and parts thereof shall remain in force.
