With Always On Display enabled, the lock screen will show the date, time, and more when the screen is off.
Enable Always On Display

Go to , and enable Always On Display.

Set Display mode as prompted.

Enable animated Always On Display
Add personalized pictures or animations while your screen is off to make your phone still vivid and interesting.
Go to Always On Display. In Images, select a picture or animation you like and tap APPLY.
If you choose the polar bear animation, when the screen is off, the posture of the polar bear will change with the battery level. You can also interact with the polar bear by tapping it.
When you turn on face unlock, the phone may be accidentally unlocked when you try to turn on the screen, which causes you to miss the Always On Display. Please avoid having your face directly in front of the phone.

Select GIF images or animated photos
You can display a local image (such as a GIF image or animated photo) when the screen is off to make the Always On Display vivid and interesting.
Go to Always On Display. In Images, tap
.Tap , select an image, and tap
.If you have already set up a local image, please tap CHANGE IMAGE. Select an image and tap
.If a GIF image is selected, you can also tap EDIT to edit it.
Set other options according to onscreen instructions and tap APPLY.
Add your artist's signature
You can add different font, colors, and decorative stickers to personalize the Always On Display.
Go to Always On Display. In Graffiti, tap a signature style.
Enter text in Enter text and set up the signature style, such as Color and Text size.
You can also add Stickers to the signature. Drag the border to adjust the position and size of elements, and tap
or 
to reorient or delete elements.Tap APPLY.
Create an Artistic Image for Always On Display
You can choose from multiple modern art styles (such as the Mondrian style). You can also specify the color scheme for the artistic image, by taking a photo or choosing from your favorite photos. The colors in the photo will form a color palette for the artistic image.

From under Artistic on the Always On Display screen, touch the style you would like to use.

Set the related options for the Artistic style, such as Layout.
When setting Color, your phone can parse the colors in your specified photo and apply the abstracted color palette to the artistic image.
Touch
, take a photo or select a photo from Gallery, and then go to > EXTRACT COLORS . -
Touch APPLY.
Clock Styles
You can select an Analog or Digital clock style for Always On Display.

From under Analog or Digital on the Always On Display screen, swipe left or right to browse the clock styles and select your preferred clock style.

Set the related options for the selected clock style, such as Show date.

Touch APPLY.
