Energy Consumption of HONOR Home is High Among Popular Mobile Apps

Symptoms

In mobile phone Settings > Battery ＞Battery usage by app, HONOR Home occupies a high position.

Causes

The energy consumption ranking indicates the energy use of mobile apps in a certain period of time. It's a normal phenomenon that HONOR Home is high on the list when running for a long time during the use period.

Solutions

During the use period, if HONOR Home operates for a long time, its energy consumption ranks high among its category, and that is normal.

Tips in daily use:

Shorten the screen-on time: Go to Settings >Display & brightness >Sleep ，set screen timeout to 30 or 15 seconds. Lock the screen when you do not use the phone.
Use static wallpaper or theme.
Turn off the screen touch activation, double tap screen, or screen wake when receiving notification:
- To turn off the screen touch activation or double tap screen： Settings > Accessibility features > Shortcuts & gestures > Wake screen > Raise to wake/Double-tap to wake.
- To turn off the screen wake when receiving notification： Settings > Notifications > More notification settings > Wake screen.
