HONOR Wearable Devices Not Getting Notifications When Connecting to an iOS Phone |
Issue
HONOR wearable devices not getting notifications when connecting to an iOS phone.
Solutions
Check in sequence whether the following services are enabled:
- Notifications in Device Details of HONOR Health app.
- Notifications of HONOR Health app in Settings.
- WeChat Message Notifications, which required to be enabled in WeChat Settings, includingSystem notifications, Show Preview Text, and Voice & Video Callsservices.
When logging in to the computer version of WeChat, set the computer and mobile phone to synchronize message notifications or make sure to exit WeChat on computer.
- If all services above are enabled and the user still can’t get notifications, here are the suggestions:
- Restart your watch and connect to your phone again.
- You may have selected Don’t Allow in message notification settings when linking your watch to the iOS version HONOR Health app. Delete the device in the HONOR Health app, ignore the watch in Bluetooth settings, and relink the watch. Select Allow in message notification settings when relinking the device.
- If the problem persists, upgrade your watch/band and the HONOR Health app to the latest version, and re-pair and connect.
- After the iOS phone changes its system language, you may not get message notification on the watch. Turn off Bluetooth services in Settings and turn it on again. After the phone link with the watch bluetooth again, you can get message notifications on the watch.
