- Type Control Panel in the search area of the taskbar and click it.
- Click "Date and time format" under "Regions". If you want to set the time format to 24-hour, change the short time format to "H:mm" or "HH:mm" and the long time format to "H:mm:ss" or "HH:mm:ss" and click OK. If you want to set the time format to 12-hour, change the short time format to "tt h:mm" or "tt hh:mm" and the long time format to "tt h:mm:ss" or "tt hh:mm:ss" and click OK.
Uppercase H represents 24-hour and lowercase h represents 12-hour. You can switch them according to your habit and preference.
