Earbuds or the charging case doesn't charge

Issues like the indicator light not flashing, the charging symbol not increasing, and the charging sign not appearing in HONOR AI Space or AI Life can have various causes. Follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

  1. Change the Charger or Charging Cable

    Use a different charger or charging cable that is known to work, preferably the original one. If it's damaged, replace it promptly.

    For certain Earbuds models, the charging case may not be compatible with E-mark charging cables (USB-C to USB-C data cables with built-in chips capable of transmitting 5A current). In such cases, it's recommended to use the original USB-C cable to charge your Earbuds.

  2. Clean the charging pins and charging port

    Use a soft cloth, dry or dampened with alcohol, to clean the Earbud's metal pins and charging case, and remove foreign objects or stains from the charging port.

    Avoid using a water-wet cloth to prevent water ingress into your Earbuds. Also, refrain from forcefully cleaning the metal pins to prevent deformation.

  3. Perform factory reset and upgrade

    Charge the case for 10 minutes, unplug the cable, open the lid, and long-press the function key or touch area for 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes, indicating a successful factory reset. Place your Earbuds in the case, connect to your phone, upgrade them to the latest software, and close the lid for charging.

    If the factory reset is unsuccessful, remove your Earbuds, and long-press the function key or touch area for another 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes.

  4. Check if the temperature of the surroundings is too high/low

    Due to the chemical characteristics of lithium batteries, the Earbuds won't charge when the temperature is below 0°C or above 47°C. To preserve battery life, please charge your device in an environment with temperatures between 3°C and 45°C.

If the issue persists, please take your proof of purchase and your device to an HONOR Customer Service Center for assistance.
