- Check the battery level of earbuds
The Bluetooth may not work when the battery level is low (indicator light is not on or red light is on). Please charge the earbuds for 5 minutes and try to reconnect.
- Check whether the earbuds are in discoverable mode
- True Wireless Stereo Earbuds
Open the charging case, press and hold the function button for more than 2 seconds until the white light blinks to enter the discoverable mode. The function button is on the side or bottom of the charging case (varies by earbuds model). (True Wireless Stereo Earbuds: There are two independent earbuds without cable and a charging case.)
HONOR Earbuds X6: Open the charging case with the earbuds in it, press and hold the touch area of both earbuds simultaneously for more than 3 seconds until the white light blinks to enter the discoverable mode.
- Neckband headphones
Press and hold the function button for 3-4 seconds until the indicator light blinks to enter the discoverable mode.
- True Wireless Stereo Earbuds
- Check whether the earbuds are connected to other devices:
The earbuds default connection is to the most recently connected device. If the earbuds have already paired with other devices, you need to disconnect them first, and then enable the discoverable mode again to pair. If the earbuds have not been paired with any other device, please go straight to the next step.
- Pair again with Bluetooth on your phone/tablet
- Unpair the earbuds with phone/tablet first:
If the name of earbuds is in the list of paired devices or My Devices, please follow the steps below to unpair or ignore this device. If not, please go straight to the next step.
Go to Settings > Bluetooth, find your earbuds in the list of paired devices or My Devices, tap the settings icon, then tap Unpair or Ignore this device.

- Pair again:
Search for tap the name of your earbuds in the list of available devices or other devices to start pairing after entering discoverable mode.
- Unpair the earbuds with phone/tablet first:
- Reset the earbuds
If the connection still fails, please restart your phone/tablet and reset your earbuds, then connect them to phone/tablet again.
- True Wireless Stereo Earbuds
Open the case with the earbuds in it, press and hold the function button for more than 10 seconds until the indicator light blinks, then the earbuds are reset. The pairing mode is automatically enabled after the earbuds are reset. You need to search for the earbuds on phone/tablet and pair again.
HONOR Earbuds X6: Open the charging case with the earbuds in it, press and hold the touch area of both earbuds simultaneously for more than 10 seconds until the red light blinks to reset the earbuds. The pairing mode is automatically enabled after the earbuds are reset. You need to search for the earbuds on phone/tablet and pair again.
- Neckband headphones
When the headphones are power off, press and hold the function button for 10 seconds until the red light blinks to reset them. Then the headphones will automatically restart and enter pairing mode.
Resetting the earbuds will erase all the pairing history.
- True Wireless Stereo Earbuds
If the problem persists, please take the proof of purchase to a nearby HONOR Service Center for assistance.
