Photos and videos taken with the front camera are flipped

Photos and videos taken with the front camera are flipped

Problem:

The phone automatically flips photos and videos taken with the front camera.

Cause:

When Mirror reflection is enabled, the captured image is opposite to the real world and is the same as what you see on the viewfinder.

When Mirror reflection is disabled, the captured image is the same as the real world and is opposite to what you see on the viewfinder.

Solution:

When the front camera is in use, swipe left on the viewfinder or touch the settings icon in the upper right corner to access the Settings screen. Then enable or disable Mirror reflection as needed.

The video recording using the front camera doesn't support Mirror reflection mode as it will be greyed out. Please refer to the actual operation.
You can also flip the image by touching it in Gallery and going to Edit > Rotate > Mirror.
