My phone makes calls automatically
My phone makes calls automatically |
Perform the following to troubleshoot the issue:
1 Check whether Speed dial is enabled on your phone
After assigning a phone number to a key in the dialer, you can touch and hold the key to speed dial this number. You can delete the related settings to cancel the speed dial function. Go to Dialer > > Settings > Speed dial, touch the key for which you wish to clear the assigned number, and touch Clear assigned number.
2 Check whether your phone is connected to a Bluetooth headset
The issue may be caused by the Callback feature on your Bluetooth headset. The feature will be triggered when you press the Callback button on the headset, and your phone will redial the most recent number from your call log.
3 Check whether a third-party app that supports speed dialing has been installed
Your phone may make a call if such an app triggers speed dialing. Please confirm whether you require such third-party apps. If not, it is recommended that you uninstall them.
4 Check whether your phone is infected with viruses
Open Phone Manager and use the Virus scan function to scan for viruses.
5 Check whether calls are made automatically when the screen is unlocked and the phone switches to a different screen by itself
If this is the case, the issue may be caused by a touchscreen fault. Back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Honor Customer Service Center for assistance.
