我的荣耀 开启荣耀之旅
Hello frnds,
At the MWCS conference in Shanghai, George Zhao, president of HONOR, said that HONOR is currently committed to providing dual-mode 5G smartphones supported by both NSA and SA, which will be commercially available in the fourth quarter of this year. There will be some trials and verifications before commercial use, in conjunction with the operator network construction. So once released, it will allow everyone to use and experience for a long time.

At present, only Huawei and HONOR can provide dual-mode 5G smartphones. George further explained that smartphone manufacturers need to support NSA and SA dual-mode, and need support for chips and underlying algorithms. The Huawei and HONOR teams have a rich wireless background, so the chip strategy and 5G terminal strategy that was first developed are to support NSA and SA in bringing the best equipment and experience to consumers.
In terms of 5G application scenarios, George said that the network speed of 5G will be ten times that of the 4G, and the entire network latency will be greatly reduced. It will drive many changes in the form and experience of the terminal, such as the AR and VR technologies, and good combinations with smartphones. When the 5G network is in place, the increase in speed and the decrease in latency will also lead to many new terminal forms.
