Troubleshoot the issue based on the following scenarios:
No ringtone is played for incoming calls when recording audio or video, or making video calls.
This is normal and does not indicate an issue with your device.
No ringtone is played for incoming calls when playing games.
If you have enabled the Uninterrupted gaming function in AppAssistant (Game Suite) to ensure an immersive gaming experience, your device will not play ringtones or vibrate for incoming calls when you are playing games. You can disable this function.
To do so, touch the AppAssistant floating icon on the game screen, touch All features, and disable Uninterrupted gaming.
No ringtone is played for incoming calls from a specific contact.
If no ringtone is played for incoming calls from a specific contact, you may have set the ringtone for this contact to None. You check the ringtone settings on the contact details screen.
No ringtone is played for incoming calls when the phone is in standby state.
- Check the Do not disturb settings.
Open Settings, search for Do not disturb, then enter the Do not disturb screen. If this function has been enabled, the ringtone will be muted during the specified time period. You can disable this function.
- Check the ringtone volume settings.
Go to Sound, and turn up the Sound volume to a suitable level then try again.

Go to Sound, touch Ringtone, and check whether None has been selected. If None has been selected, you can select a ringtone.
/ - Check to see if the issue occurs because you have pressed the Volume button or touched Message or Reminder on the call screen by mistake.
When there is an incoming call and you accidentally press the Volume button or touch Message or Reminder on the call screen, no ringtone will be played for this call. This is a design of the phone.
- Check whether music or keypad tones can be played.
● Play music on your phone. If your phone plays music, restart your phone and try again.
● Choose a keypad tone for your phone. If your phone plays the keypad tone when you touch the dialer, restart your phone and try again.
To set a keypad tone, go to Default or Melody.

If the issue persists, reset all settings and try again. To do so, open Settings, search for and touch Reset all settings, then follow the onscreen instructions.
Resetting all settings will clear the lock screen password, fingerprint ID, and Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connection data.

If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Honor Customer Service Center for assistance.
