HONOR eSIM and supported
network carriers

Last Update date : Oct.21.2024

Introduction to eSIMs

HONOR eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM that allows you to use the mobile data without a physical SIM card (Mini SIM, Micro SIM, Nano SIM, etc.). With an eSIM, you don't ever have to visit a shop or buy a physical SIM card. As long as your phone is compatible, you’re good to go.
You can have multiple eSIM profiles installed in your device. This is also one of the key advantages of an eSIM over a physical SIM, where you can easily switch between carriers and profiles without having to change out your physical SIM cards.

HONOR devices that support eSIM

  • HONOR Magic4 Pro/HONOR Magic5 Pro/HONOR Magic6 Pro
  • HONOR Magic Vs/HONOR Magic V2/HONOR Magic V3
  • HONOR 90/HONOR 200

Please note:

  • Depending on the country of origin, eSIM may not be supported even if your device is listed above. Please check if your device supports this feature in your location.

How to add an eSIM to your HONOR smartphone

To add an eSIM to your smartphone, you have three options: scanning a QR code, manually entering the information, or installing a pre-assigned plan.

  • Scan a QR code: you will need to contact your mobile provider to receive a QR code.
  • Enter information manually: some mobile providers that support eSIM provide a code to manually add an eSIM.
  • Install a pre-assigned plan: before starting, check with your mobile provider whether this option is available. You may be asked to provide your phone’s EID. You can find this on the box your phone came in, or by going to Settings > About phone > EID

Step1: Go to Settings > Mobile network > SIM management

Step2: Tap Add eSIM then follow the prompts to complete the remain steps.
