Data center Relocation Announcement
HONOR is consistently working to offer better services and experiences to all users. This
year a big move forward is that our data center will be relocated from Malaysia to Singapore.
This change is due to the adjustment of HONOR’s data center. During this period, all
of your data will be relocated, including but not limited to HONOR account data, order data, service
data, etc. HONOR complies with all applicable legal requirements to safeguard your personal data
transferred.
After the relocation, your data will be deleted from the Malaysia data center. This
data relocation will not affect your use of our products or services. In general, your consumer law
rights and obligations are unaffected by this change.
Your data protection and privacy rights will not be lessened in any way. The
personal data that you have entrusted to us will continue to be processed as it was previously in
accordance with applicable laws.
The relocation will be carried out from the end of June 2022 to January 2023.

HONOR ID Website Notice to Customers
Due to organizational changes within the HONOR affiliates, HONOR ID service will
be transferred on 15th March 2022 from HONOR TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. to HONOR
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.. This change applies to the following regions: Hong Kong,
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belarus, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic,
Egypt, El Salvador, Georgia, Guatemala, Honduras, Iraq, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan,
Lebanon, Malaysia, Mexico, Mongolia, Oman, Panama, Peru, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa,
Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Yemen.
This change is due to the structural adjustment of HONOR organization.
From now on, HONOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. will take over all of the legal
responsibilities and obligations for our relationship with you, from HONOR TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA)
SDN. BHD.. In particular, HONOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is responsible for protecting
your personal data.
This change will not affect the way you use our services. In general, your
consumer law rights and obligations are unaffected by this change, for example, it will not
affect your device guarantee or warranty. If you are an HONOR consumer living in a country in
any of the above-named regions, your local law applies when it provides mandatory and stronger
protections to you.

have entrusted to us will continue to be processed as it was previously, in accordance with
applicable laws.
No, you don’t have to take any action. You can continue to use our mobile
services just as before and we will also introduce new mobile services in the future.
However, if want to opt out of this change, you will need to take action to
delete your HONOR ID account. This is explained further below.
This change will happen on 15th March 2022.
We sincerely hope that you enjoy and trust our services and that you want to keep
using them. However, if you do choose to do so, you can terminate your user agreements by
deleting your HONOR ID account at any time.
The following are the instructions for mobile phones:
Go to Settings > HONOR ID > log in (if you are not currently logged in) > go
to Privacy Center> Delete account.

https://hnid-dra.cloud.hihonor.com/CAS/portal/login.html > log in with
your HONOR ID > go to Privacy Center > Delete account.
PLEASE NOTE: By opting out, your HONORID and related information will be
deleted This means you will not be able to recover this information later, even if you create a
new HONOR ID.
You will not be able to use our mobile services until you create a new HONOR
ID. You can however use the basic functions as normal, such as making phone calls, sending SMSs,
and taking photos.

We will take steps to make sure you are the legitimate account owner and help
you to delete your account.
