HONOR Care Service Terms and Conditions

Date: [17th Apr 2025]

1. HONOR Care, including the Extended Warranty (“Extended Warranty”), Screen Protection (“Screen Protection”), Back Cover Protection (“Back Cover Protection”), Half Price Screen Replacement (“Half Price Screen Replacement”), One to One Replacement (“One to One Replacement”), Battery Replacement (“Battery Replacement”), and Accidental Damage Protection (“Accidental Damage Protection”) (collectively, the “Service”), are provided by HONOR Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“HONOR”).

2. As a service, customers can receive the HONOR Care as a free gift by purchasing a brand-new device (applicable models only) or by directly purchasing the service from the HONOR official channels.

3. To be eligible for the Service, customers are required to fulfil all the criteria below (“Customers”):

3.1 To receive HONOR Care service as a free gift:
(a) Customers must purchase any of the following eligible HONOR product models (“Applicable Model(s)”) from HONOR Experience store, HONOR Display Zone, HONOR Online Store, Shopee Mall, Lazada Mall, or any other authorized platform.
(b) The right will automatically activate within 48 hours after device activation.

3.2 To purchase the HONOR Care service (currently available for 1-Year Extended Warranty, Half Price Screen Replacement, and Accidental Damage Protection):
Customer must purchase the Eligible Device from HONOR Experience store, HONOR Display Zone, HONOR Online Store, Shopee Mall, Lazada Mall, or any other authorized platform.

(a) To purchase 1-Year Extended Warranty

• The Eligible Device must be within 10 months of its purchase date when buying the 1-Year Extended Warranty service and must not have any other extended warranty rights registered.
• The Eligible Device for this service refers to devices launched after 1st August 2022, including but not limited to HONOR 200 Series, HONOR Magic V3, HONOR Pad 9, HONOR Magic Pad 2, etc.
• Each Eligible Device can purchase HONOR Care service only once.

(b) To purchase the Half Price Screen Replacement (within 365 days):

• The Eligible Device must be within one year (365 days) of its purchase date.
• The Eligible Device for this service refers to devices launched after 1st August 2022, including but not limited to HONOR Magic V2 series, HONOR Magic V3.
• Each Eligible Device screen (including inner and outer screens) can purchase this service only once.

(c) To purchase the Accidental Damage Protection:

• The Eligible Device must be within 3 days of its device activation date when buying the Accidental Damage Protection service.
• The Eligible Device for this service refers to devices including but not limited to HONOR Magic 7 Pro, HONOR Magic 7 RSR.
• Each Eligible Device can purchase this service only once and must not have the Screen Protection service purchased concurrently.

4. Customers must provide valid proof of purchase of the Applicable Model(s) or Eligible Device(s) for verification purposes. Eligibility for redeeming or purchasing the Service is contingent upon submission of valid proof of purchase and relevant details.

5. Below are the specific terms and conditions applicable to the One to One Replacement service:

5.1 The One to One Replacement is only applicable to the above listed Applicable Models of this service within its validity period.

5.2 The Service right validity period is as named, such as 180 days from the activation date of the device or other defined timelines.

5.3 Only devices that have a hardware quality issue within the service validity period can claim a one-time One to One replacement, excluding certain issues enumerated in 5.5 below.

5.4 Priority will be given to replacing the device with the same color. However, HONOR reserves the right to replace the device with a different color if the specified color is out of the stock. Customers may also choose to have the device repaired instead of replacing a new handset.

5.5 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the One to One Replacement.
(a) Man-made physical damage such as screen cracks, back cover cracks, camera lens cracks, device body cracks, etc;
(b) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, or commercial usage;
(c) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;
(d) Damage that does not occur within the One to One Replacement period;
(e) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers; and/or
(f) Device that have a repair history, such as screen replacement or mainboard replacement.

6. Below are the specific terms and conditions applicable to the Extended Warranty service:

6.1 The Extended Warranty will be subject to the same terms as HONOR's standard warranty service terms in HONOR's Warranty Policy, which is available at https://www.honor.com/my/support/warranty-policy/.

6.2 Customers are advised to check the HONOR Website for any latest changes to the terms of the Warranty Policy, as it may be updated from time to time by the Organizer.

7. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection service:

7.1 The protection covers internal or external cracks, damaged, or broken screen or back cover due to accidental collision, falling or dropping only.

7.2 Screen and back cover crack replacements covered under the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection will be free of charge on the spare parts, but a service fee will be charged (RM60 for non-foldable devices and RM80 for foldable devices).

7.3 Please note that this Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection can only be claimed once per device.

7.4 Additional fees may be charged for other parts damaged as diagnosed by the HONOR Authorized Service Center. If you require any repair assistance, please contact or visit any HONOR Authorized Service Center, located at https://www.honor.com/my/support/service-center/.

7.5 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection.
(a) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, battery leakage, or commercial usage;
(b) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;
(c) Damage that does not occur within the Screen Protection or Back Cover Protection period; and/or
(d) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

8. Below are the specific terms and conditions applicable to Battery Replacement service:

8.1 The Battery Replacement is only applicable to the above listed Applicable Models of this service within its validity period.

8.2 The Service validity period is as named, such as 36 months (3 years) from the activation date of the device or other defined timelines.

8.3 Only devices whose battery health capacity is lower than 80%, as determined by the detection results by HONOR Service Center, are eligible for a one-time free battery replacement.

8.4 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Battery Replacement:
(a) Man-made physical damage, such as bending, battery puncture, etc.
(b) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, or commercial usage;
(c) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer's installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;
(d) Damage that does not occur within Battery Replacement period; and/or
(e) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

9. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Half Price Screen Replacement service:

9.1 The Half Price Screen Replacement is only applicable to the above listed Applicable Models and defined Eligible Devices.

9.2 The Service can only be performed by the selected HONOR Authorized Service Centers.

9.3 The Service is valid for 15 days from the Service Purchase Date (“Validity Period”). Customer(s) must redeem the service within the Validity Period. The service shall become invalid and expired automatically after the Validity Period.

9.4 After purchasing the Service, customer(s) are not required to pay any additional charges for the screen replacement in accordance with 9.5 below. However, additional charges may be imposed if:
(a) Other damaged parts are diagnosed; and/or
(b)The device is confirmed to be out of warranty by the selected Service Centers. For spare part pricing, kindly refer to https://www.honor.com/my/support/sparepart-price/.

9.5 Please note that the following conditions are applicable to the Service:

. Service Type Conditions
(i) Service purchased for inner screen Can be used for one-off inner screen replacement
(ii) Service purchased for outer screen Can be used for one-off outer screen replacement
(iii) Service purchased for both inner screen and outer screen Can be used for one-off inner screen and outer screen replacement provided that both inner screen and outer screen are replaced at the same time.

9.6 Any screen damage resulting and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Half Price Screen Replacement:
(a) The Validity Period for the service has expired, or the Service has been used;
(b) Damage that does not occur within the Validity Period; and/or
(c) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

9.7 Reminder to Customer(s):
Customer(s) are advised to purchase this service only upon confirming with the selected Service Centers that:
(a) The device screen is damaged or cracked; and
(b) The Service is required (eg., when the 6 months screen crack protection has expired or is being used previously).

10. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Accidental Damage Protection service:

10.1 The Accidental Damage Protection is only applicable to the above listed Applicable Models of this service within its validity period.

10.2 The Service covers the screen (including inner screen and outer screen) and back cover are damaged or broken due to accidental collision, accidental fall, accidental extrusion or liquid damage under normal use within the protection period from the purchase date.

10.3 The Service will be free of charge on the spare parts, but a service fee will be charged:

10.4 For each device, Accidental Damage Protection Service can be used once only for 1 Year Accidental Damage Protection Service and twice only for 2 Year Accidental Damage Protection Service.

10.5 If you replace your device due to a quality failure under HONOR's warranty policy and you have not yet used your Accidental Damage Protection service, the service will transfer to your new device.

10.6 If the mainboard of your device is replaced under HONOR's warranty policy and you have not yet used your Accidental Damage Protection service, the service will transfer to the new mainboard.

10.7 Any damage resulting from and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Accidental Damage Protection:
(a) Any modification, disassembly, repair, or defects caused by unauthorized modifications, or failure to follow HONOR's installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;
(b) Missing, damaged, or altered nameplates and serial numbers, making it impossible to determine whether the device belongs to the guaranteed product;
(c) Loss of digital accessories and consumables;
(d) Loss or damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customer;
(e) Appearance wear, scratches, and other losses that do not affect normal us;
(f) Failure or damage caused by force majeure (such as earthquakes, fires, tsunamis, radioactive pollution, lightning strikes, etc.) or by war, hostilities, military actions, armed conflicts, strikes, riots, terrorist activities, and natural disasters;
(g) Non-hardware losses, such as data loss;
(h) Loss due to the device being regarded as lost or stolen;
(i) Damage caused by falls from a height of more than 20 meters or being crushed by a car;
(j) Missing parts of the product;
(k) System and software problems, such as self-flashing, upgrades, or software issues causing functional failure;
(l) Loss caused by value reduction after repairs; and/or
(m) Loss or damage that does not occur within the Accidental Damage Protection period.

11. The Service is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the Customers successfully replaced the device, the replacement device will inherit the remaining period of the extended warranty purchased.

12. Customers agree and provide consent to HONOR to the use of any personal data as provided by the Customers for the purposes of the providing of the Service in line with the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HONOR for lawful purpose directly related to the Service, including but not limited to promotional events, advertising, marketing, and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and provision of the Service by HONOR.

13. By providing the personal data, Customers confirm that they had read, understood, and agreed to be bound by HONOR's Privacy Policy, stated at https://www.honor.com/my/support/service-privacy-notice/. Customers further agree that HONOR and/or its agent and/or its third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email, or other methods in connection with the Service.

14. By redeeming or purchasing the Service, Customers agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions hereinafter provided. HONOR's decisions shall be final and binding, and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. HONOR reserves the rights to add, amend, or vary these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice to the Customer.

15. To the fullest extent permissible by laws, Customers agree to discharge and release HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities and claims (including breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of action at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to the Service.

16. The Service and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
