HONOR Care Service Terms and Conditions

1. HONOR Care, include the Extended Warranty (“Extended Warranty”) , Screen Protection (“Screen Protection”), Back Cover Protection (“Back Cover Protection”), Half Price Screen Replacement (“Half Price Screen Replacement” ), One to One Replacement (“One to One Replacement”), Battery Replacement (“Battery Replacement”) (collectively, “Service”) are provided by HONOR Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“HONOR”).

2. As a service, customer can get the HONOR Care right as a free gift by purchasing a brand new device (applicable models only) or buying the service directly from the HONOR official channel.

3. To be eligible to the Service, customers are required to fulfil all the criteria below (“Customers”):

3.1 To get HONOR Care service as a free gift;
Customers shall purchase any of the following eligible HONOR product models (“Applicable Model(s)”) from HONOR Experience store, HONOR Display Zone, Honor Online Store, Shopee Mall, Lazada Mall and any other authorized platform.

3.2 To Purchase the HONOR Care service (only 1 Year Extended Warranty and Half Price Screen Replacement are applicable now)

(a) To purchase 1 Year Extended Warranty, Customers must purchase the Eligible Device from HONOR Experience store, HONOR Display Zone, HONOR Online Store, Shopee Mall, Lazada Mall and any other authorized platform. The Eligible Device shall be within 10 months from the device purchase date at the purchase time of the 1 Year Extended Warranty service, and shall be with no any other extended warranty rights registered. The Eligible Device for this service refers to the devices launched after 1st August 2022, including but not limited to HONOR 200 Series, HONOR Magic V3, HONOR Pad 9, HONOR Magic Pad 2, etc. Every Eligible Device can purchase HONOR Care service once only.

(b) To purchase the Half Price Screen Replacement (within 365 days), Customer must purchase the Eligible Device from HONOR Experience store, HONOR Display Zone, HONOR Online Store, Shopee Mall, Lazada Mall and any other authorized platform. The Eligible Device shall be within one year (365 days) from the device purchase date. The Eligible Device for this service refers to the devices launched after 1st August 2022, including but not limited to HONOR Magic V2 series, HONOR Magic V3. Every Eligible Device screen (include inner screen and outer screen) can purchase this service once only.

4. Customers must produce the valid proof of purchase of the Applicable Model(s) or Eligible Device(s) for verification purposes. Eligibility of the Customers for the redemption or purchase of the Service is subject to the Customer’s submission of the valid proof of purchase and the relevant details.

5. Below are the specific terms and conditions applicable to the One to One Replacement:

(a) The Replacement is only applicable for the above listed Applicable Models of this service within its activity period.

(b) The service right validate period as its named such as 180 days from the activate date of the device or other defined timeline.

(c) Only the device which has a hardware quality issue within the service validate period can claim one time one to one replacement, excluding the certain issues numerated in item (e) as below.

(d) Priority will be given to replace the same color device. However, HONOR reserve the right to replace different color device when the specified color out of the stock and customer can also choose repair the device instead of replacing a new handset.

(e) Any damage resulted and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the one to one replacement.

(i) Man-made physical damage such as screen crack, back cover crack, camera lens crack, device body crack etc.

(ii) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, commercial usage;

(iii) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;

(iv) Damage that does not occur within the One to One Replacement period; and/or

(v) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

(vi) Device had a repair history such as screen replacement, mainboard replacement.

6. Below are the specific terms and conditions applicable to the Extended Warranty:

(a) The Extended Warranty will be subject to the same terms of HONOR’s standard warranty service terms in the HONOR’s Warranty Policy which is available at https://www.honor.com/my/support/warranty-policy/.

(b) Customers are advised to check on Honor Website for any latest changes to the terms of the Warranty Policy which can be updated from time to time by the Organizer.

7. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection:

(a) Internal or external cracked, damaged, or broken screen or back cover due to accidental collision, falling or dropping only.

(b) Screen and back cover crack replacement which are covered under the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection will be free of charge on the spare parts but a service fee of RM60 will be charged. Please note that this Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection can be claimed for only one time per device, and additional fees may be chargeable if there is any other parts damage as diagnosed by HONOR Authorized Service Center, kindly refer to https://www.honor.com/my/support/sparepart-price/ for the list of spare part price. If you require any repair assistance, please contact or visit any HONOR Authorized Service Center located at https://www.honor.com/my/support/service-center/.

(c) Any damage resulted and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection.

(i) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, battery leakage, commercial usage;

(ii) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;

(iii) Damage that does not occur within the Screen Protection or Back Cover Protection period; and/or

(iv) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

8. Below are the specific terms and conditions applicable to Battery Replacement:

(a) The Battery Replacement is only applicable for the above listed Applicable Models of this service within its activity period.

(b) The service right validate period as its named such as 36 months (3 years) from the activate date of the device or other defined timeline

(c) Only the device battery health capacity is lower than 80% upon the detection result by HONOR service center can Customer claim one time battery free replacement.

(d) Any damage resulted and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Battery Replacement:

(i) Man-made physical damage such bend, battery puncture etc.

(ii) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, commercial usage;

(iii) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;

(iv) Damage that does not occur within Battery Replacement period; and/or

(v) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

9. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Half Price Screen Replacement Service:

(a) The Service is only applicable to the above listed Applicable Models and defined Eligible Devices.

(b) The Service can only be done by the selected Honor Authorized Service Centers.

(c) The Service is valid for 15 days from the Service Purchase Date (“Validity Period”) and customer(s) must use the Service within the Validity Period. The Service shall become invalid and expired automatically after the Validity Period.

(d) After purchasing the Service, Customer(s) is not required to pay any additional charges for the screen replacement in accordance with (e) below. However, additional charges may be imposed if there are any other damaged parts which are diagnosed or if the device is out of warranty as confirmed by the Selected Service Centers. (e) Please note that the following conditions are applicable to the Service:

(ii) Service purchased for outer screen Can be used for one-off outer screen replacement
(iii) Service purchased for both inner screen and outer screen Can be used for one-off inner screen and outer screen replacement provided that both inner screen and outer screen are replaced at the same time.

(f) Any screen damage resulted and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Service:

(g) The Validity Period for the Service has expired, or the Service has been used.

(h) Damage that does not occur within the Validity Period; and/or

(i) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.
Reminder to Customer(s):
Customer(s) is advised to purchase this Service only upon confirming with the Selected Service Centers that the device screen is damaged or cracked and the Service is required (eg. when the 6 months screen crack protection has expired or is being used previously).

10. The Service is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the Customers successfully replaced the device, the replacement device will inherit the remaining period of the extended warranty purchased.

11. Customers agree and provide consent to HONOR to the use of any personal data as provided by the Customers for the purposes of the provision of the Service in line with the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HONOR for lawful purpose directly related to the Service, including but not limited to the purposes of promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and provision of the Service by HONOR.

12. By providing the personal data, Customers confirm that they had read, understood, and agreed to be bound by HONOR’s Privacy Policy stated at https://www.honor.com/my/support/service-privacy-notice/. Customers further agree that HONOR and/or its agent and/or its third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email, or such other method in connection with the Service.

13. By redeeming or purchasing the Service, customers agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions hereinafter provided and HONOR’s decisions shall be final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. HONOR reserves the rights to add, amend or vary these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice to the Customer.

14. To the fullest extent permissible by laws, Customers agree to discharge and release HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to the Service.

15. The Service and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
