The computer is making unusual sounds
The computer is making unusual sounds |
You may hear the sound of a slight electric current when you place your ear close to the back of the computer. These sounds are normal and are produced by slight vibrations in the computer's capacitor as the electric current/voltage supply changes.
You may hear the sound of static when you place your ear close to the computer speakers. This is because the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is decreasing in order for the loudness of the speaker to increase. This is a normal phenomenon.
Your speakers may be too loud and causing your keyboard to vibrate and make a sound. This is normal and please don't be concerned. Adjust the volume for a better user experience.
If you hear your own echo during a video call with another user, there may be a problem with the echo cancellation function of the other user's headset. In this case, advise the other user to use a different headset or phone and try again.
You may hear the sound of an electric current when the speaker volume is low.
Your computer speaker uses a sound enhancement algorithm. When the speaker volume is low, any issues with the algorithm may be output through the speaker, resulting in the sound of an electric current being audible. This is normal and does not indicate a problem with your computer.
If the electric current is loud, it may indicate that the audio driver is faulty. Download a new audio driver or update the current one. Download an audio driver from the official website: https://www.honor.com/global/support/
Click Laptops and select the corresponding model from the list to enter the page for downloading software and drivers.
Find Sound card and click the plus sign (+) to display the download link. Click Download. After the download is complete, double-click the .exe file to install it onto your computer.
- If the sound issue is serious and persistently affects your computer usage, back up the data in advance, press F10 during startup to restore the computer to its factory settings, and then promptly update the audio driver.
- System restoration will delete all data in the C drive, and files in other drives will be retained. To avoid data loss, it is recommended that you back up C drive data including desktop files, downloads, documents, and other personal files. Remember the Microsoft account and password to activate Office components on the computer.
- Office components do not expire when the computer is restored to factory settings. Enter the Microsoft account and password bound when activating Office components for the first time or reactivating.
