The computer tries to search for a Bluetooth device but cannot find it |
Problem
When the user uses the computer to search for available Bluetooth devices, there is a possibility that it cannot find the device.
Cause
Cause 1: This may happen when you are using Wi-Fi on the computer to download content, which occupies lots of resources and leaves less resources for Bluetooth, resulting in the computer not being able to find the Bluetooth device.
Cause 2: This may happen because of a compatibility issue between a Bluetooth mouse/earphones and the computer.
Solution
Disable Wi-Fi on your computer. Enable it again after the computer has searched for the Bluetooth device.
Turn off Bluetooth on both the desired device and your laptop first. Then, turn them back on, and try searching again. If the issue persists, you may need to repeat this step multiple times.
Go to your Bluetooth settings and change the device detection option from "Default" to "Advanced". Then, try searching again.
Please restart both your laptop and the desired device, and try searching again.
Please reinstall the Bluetooth driver on your laptop. Once completed, restart your laptop and try searching again.
