Problem
NFC transmission between phones is unavailable.
Solution
- Please make sure both phones’NFC support Peer-to-Peer mode. You can check whether it on the specification page after selecting the corresponding product on HONOR official website.
- Make sure that both phones support NFC.
- Make sure that both phones have their screen unlocked, then perform the following:
Swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel and make sure that the NFC icon is turned on. Search and enable the HONOR Beam switch.
It is recommended that you set Default payment app on the sender's phone to SIM card or other apps instead of Wallet. Otherwise, the payment screen may be displayed during NFC transmission.
- On the sender's phone, open the photo, contact, or any file that you want to transfer and place the NFC area of the sender's phone close to the NFC area of the other phone (it is located on the top part of the rear cover or near the rear camera. You can refer to Quick Start Guide or contact customer service for its exact location.). Adjust the phones so that the center points of the NFC areas are aligned. When the screen of the sender's phone is zoomed out, touch the screen of the sender's phone to start transmission.
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an HONOR Authorized Service Center for assistance.
