Problem:
- When a HONOR phone touches another HONOR phone or NFC-enabled Android phone, a payment app such as Wallet or Google Pay is launched.
- When a HONOR phone touches an iPhone, Apple Pay is launched on the iPhone.
Cause:
When your phone is unlocked and the screen is turned on, it emits NFC signals. When another NFC-enabled phone is within range, your phone will detect it as a POS device and launch a payment app. This is a normal occurrence for NFC.
Solution:
From the drop-down menu at the top of the screen, long-press the NFC icon to enter Settings. It is recommended to change the default payment app to a SIM card or other. Do not choose Wallet, or the card linking screen or Wallet, Google Pay, and other payment apps will be displayed.
