  • Q1: How do I buy an Extended Warranty?

    You can purchase the Extended Warranty at the same time when you purchase a new device (selected models) on HONOR official website : HONOR Malaysia (honor.com) , you can also buy it from HONOR Care service products (this page) if your device is still within 10 months from the purchase date.

  • Q2: Can I purchase the Extended Warranty if my device is already out of warranty?

    No, You cannot buy the Extended Warranty if the standard warranty of your device has already expired.

  • Q3: How to calculate the warranty period of Extended Warranty?

    When your device original standard 1 year warranty expired, the 1 year extended warranty will be validated automatically.

  • Q4: If my device is broken due to the dropping or liquid damage. Is this covered under the Extended Warranty?

    No, The extended warranty is limited to only non-human damage during normal use of the device.

  • Q5: Does the Extended Warranty cover accessories such as earplugs and chargers?

    No, the Extended Warranty does not cover accessories such as power adapters, batteries, headphones, data cables, free gifts, etc.

  • Q6: The Extended Warranty I purchased before is about to expire. Can I buy it again?

    No, Every eligible device can purchase once only.

    1. HONOR Care, include the Extended Warranty (“Extended Warranty”) , Screen Protection (“Screen Protection”) and Back Cover Protection (“Back Cover Protection”) (collectively, “Service”) are provided by HONOR Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No.: 202101003804) (“HONOR”).

    2. As a service, customer can get the HONOR Care right as a free gift by purchasing a brand new device(selected model) or buying the service directly from HONOR official channel.

    3. To be eligible to the Service, customers are required to fulfil all the criteria below (“Customers”):

    3.1 To get HONOR Care service as a free gift;

    Customers must purchase any of the following eligible HONOR product models (“Applicable Model(s)”) from HONOR Experience store, HONOR Display Zone, HONOR Online Store, Shopee Mall, Lazada Mall and any other authorized platform.

    3.2 To Purchase the HONOR Care service( only 1 Year Extended Warranty applicable now)

    a) Customers must purchase the mobile phone and tablet launched after 1st August 2022, include but not limit to HONOR X8 5G, HONOR 70, HONOR Pad 8, HONOR Pad X8, HONOR X6, HONOR X9a, HONOR X9b.

    b) Customers must purchase the above eligible device from HONOR Experience store, HONOR Display Zone, HONOR Online Store, Shopee Mall, Lazada Mall and any other authorized platform and the device is still within 10 months from the purchase date

    c) The device has no any other extended warranty right registered.

    d) Every eligible device can purchase once only

    4. Customers must produce the valid proof of purchase of the Applicable Model(s) for verification purposes. Eligibility of the Customers for the redemption or purchase of the Service is subject to the Customer’s submission of the valid proof of purchase and the relevant details.

    5. Below are the specific terms and conditions applicable to the Extended Warranty:

    (a) The Extended Warranty will be subject to the same terms of HONOR’s standard warranty service terms in the HONOR’s Warranty Policy which is available at https://www.honor.com/my/support/warranty-policy/.

    (b) Customers are advised to check on HONOR Website for any latest changes to the terms of the Warranty Policy which can be updated from time to time by the Organizer.

    6. Below are the specific terms applicable to the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection:

    (a) Internal or external cracked, damaged, or broken screen or back cover due to accidental collision, falling or dropping only.

    (b) Screen and back cover crack replacement which are covered under the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection will be free of charge but a service fee of RM60 will be charged only. Please note that this Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection can only be claimed for one time per device and additional fees may be chargeable if there is any other parts damage as diagnosed by HONOR Authorized Service Center, kindly refer to https://www.honor.com/my/support/sparepart-price/ for the list of spare part price. If you require any repair assistance, please contact our or visit any HONOR Authorized Service Center located at https://www.honor.com/my/support/service-center/.

    (c) Any damage resulted and/or caused by any of the incidents below will be excluded from the Screen Protection and Back Cover Protection.

    (i) Damage caused by theft, sand, water damage, corrosion, battery leakage, commercial usage;

    (ii) Problems or defects caused by unauthorized modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation, operation, or maintenance instructions;

    (iii) Damage that does not occur within the Screen Protection or Back Cover Protection period; and/or

    (iv) Damage that is intentionally or deliberately caused by the Customers.

    7. The Service is non-refundable and non-transferable. If the Customers successfully replaced the device, the replacement device will inherit remaining period of the extended warranty purchased.

    8. Customers agree and provide consent to HONOR to the use of any personal data as provided by the Customers for the purposes of the provision of the Service in line with the applicable personal data protection laws and regulations, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by HONOR for lawful purpose directly related to the Service, including but not limited to the purposes of promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and provision of the Service by HONOR.

    9. By providing the personal data, Customers confirm that they had read, understood, and agreed to be bound by HONOR’s Privacy Policy stated at https://www.honor.com/my/support/service-privacy-notice/. Customers further agree that HONOR and/or its agent and/or its third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email, or such other method in connection with the Service.

    10. By redeeming or purchasing the Service, customers agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions hereinafter provided and HONOR’s decisions shall be final and binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entertained. HONOR reserves the rights to add, amend or vary these Terms and Conditions without any prior notice to the Customer.

    11. To the fullest extent permissible by laws, Customers agree to discharge and release HONOR and its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, licensees, advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence, or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to the Service.

    12. The Service and the Terms and Conditions herein shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
