    After your device obtains the Accidental Damage Protection Service (purchased or gifted), under normal use, if the screen (including inner screen and outer screen) and back cover are damaged or broken due to accidental collision, accidental fall, accidental extrusion or liquid damage within the 1-year protection period from the purchase date, you could enjoy one-time repair service with specific service fee charging only.

  • Q2: How do I know if my device applicable to purchase the Accidental Damage Protection Service?

    Only selected models which have not activated or have activated(connected to internet or inserted the SIM card to use)within 3 days is applicable.

  • Q3: Do I need pay any other fee when using this Accidental Damage Protection Service.

    Yes, a specific service fee will be charged as defined in the Terms and Conditions;

Terms and Conditions

Accidental Damage Protection (hereinafter referred to as "the service") is a service provided by Honor Technology (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No.: 202101003804 (1404103-P)) with registered office at Level 18 Menara Binjai 2 Jalan Binjai 50450 Kuala Lumpur (“HONOR”). This agreement is an effective contract between you and us regarding Accidental Damage Protection Service. Please read carefully and understand this service agreement. This agreement constitutes a legal document that is binding on both parties. Your use of this service means that you agree to this agreement. If you do not agree to this agreement, please stop the operation or purchase, and you will not be able to enjoy the benefit of this service.

1. Service Content

1.1 After your device obtains the Accidental Damage Protection Service (purchased or gifted), under normal use, if the screen (including inner screen and outer screen) and back cover are damaged or broken due to accidental collision, accidental fall, accidental extrusion or liquid damage within the protection period from the purchase date, you could enjoy repair service (one-time for 1 Year Accidental Damage Protection Service,two-times for 2 Year 2 Times Accidental Damage Protection Service) without incurring part charges for the screen or back cover replacement with a service charging of RM 60 (for non-foldable device) or RM 120 (for foldable device). If the replaced spare parts are not screen or back cover (such as mainboard and screen replaced together) , the service fee will be charged with RM 178 (for non-foldable device) or RM 398 (for foldable device)

1.2 For each device,Accidental Damage Protection Service can be used once only for 1 Year Accidental Damage Protection Service and twice only for 2 Year Accidental Damage Protection Service.

2. Service availability

Accidental Damage Protection Service is only applicable under the terms and conditions below:

2.1 The device must be purchase for selected models which within 3 days from the device activated date.

2.2 The device is within the validity period of the Accidental Damage Protection Service ,and the service has not been used.

2.3 There are no circumstances listed in the section 3 of this agreement that do not belong to the guaranteed scope of the Accidental Damage Protection.

2.4 The devices must be purchased in Malaysia.

3. Accidental Damage Protection Service Does Not Cover

3.1 Any modification, disassembly, or repair without the authorization of HONOR.

3.2 The nameplate and serial number of the device are missing, damaged or altered, making it is impossible to determine whether it belongs to the guaranteed product.

3.3 Loss of digital accessories and consumables.

3.4 Loss caused by intentional actions.

3.5 Appearance wear, scratches and other losses that do not affect normal use.

3.6 Failure or damage caused by force majeure (such as earthquakes, fires, tsunamis, radioactive pollution, lightning strikes, etc.) or war, hostilities, military actions, armed conflicts, strikes, riots, terrorist activities, and natural disasters.

3.7 Non-hardware loss such as data loss.

3.8 Exceeding the time limit of the guarantee service period.

3.9 The damaged terminal product is regarded as lost or stolen.

3.10 Loss caused by falling from a height of more than 20 meters or by being crushed by a car.

3.11 Missing parts of the product host.

3.12 System and software problems such as self-flashing, upgrades, and software issues cause functional failure of the device.

3.13 The cost of sending the device to repair organizations other than the HONOR Authorized Service Center for repair.

3.14 Loss caused by value reduction after repairing.

4. Transfer or Revocation

4.1 If you replaced your device with a new one due to device quality failure in accordance with HONOR warranty policy, and you have not yet used your Accidental Damage Protection service, then the service will be transferred to your new device.

4.2 If the mainboard of your device is replaced as per HONOR warranty policy, and you have not yet used your Accidental Damage Protection service, then this service will be transferred to the new mainboard.

5. Liability Exemption

Where permitted by law, HONOR is not responsible for any of the following situations:

5.1 Losses of your records or data;

5.2 All the indirect losses caused by product damage (including but not limited to personal injury, loss of income or profit, loss of reputation, loss of spirit, loss of failure time, and any other indirect or incidental losses such as loss of work time) shall not be liable for any other indirect or incidental losses.

You agree that we will only provide you with legal products and services on the basis of "as is" and "as available", and you are responsible for using this product at your own risk. If you are a minor, you should also obtain the consent of your guardian. Unless otherwise expressly provided in this agreement, Honor Malaysia, does not make any implied statement or guarantee for this service (except as otherwise provided by law).

6. Service Termination

6.1 In one of the following situations, this Accidental Damage Protection service will naturally terminate:

(a) Your Accidental Damage Protection Service expired;

(b) Your Accidental Damage Protection Service has been used;

(c) If it is determined by an engineer of the HONOR Authorized Service Center that your device has been privately dismantled or unauthorized repaired;

6.2 If we find that you have deliberately damaged the product to achieve fraudulent purposes, we have the right to terminate the service and refuse to provide Accidental Damage Protection service without any responsibility. At the same time, we reserve the right to pursue legal liabilities.

7. Recycling of the Replaced Malfunction Spare Parts

You acknowledge and agree that the property rights of faulty parts replaced during repairs using this service belong to us, and we will recycle them through HONOR Authorized Service Centers.

8. Dispute Resolution

If there is a dispute during the implementation of the terms of this agreement, the parties to the dispute can resolve it through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached after negotiation, all parties to the dispute shall apply to the court in Malaysia to resolve it through litigation according to Malaysia law.
