Pass the HONOR’s CSR Certification and sign CSR Agreement.
We invite professional third-party auditing companies to conduct on-site CSR audits on suppliers to manage and control their CSR risks.
We also carry out special audit projects, such as Conflict Minerals, to meet customers’ requirements.
For the problems found in the evaluation, we will invite senior experts to guide the correction and improve the professional capabilities of our partners.
Promote the establishment of the Supplier CSR Management System.
We conduct performance evaluations on our suppliers each year.
The evaluation results will be considered in our business cooperation assessment.
• Free choice of employment: Suppliers shall not employ indentured labor, prison labor, slaves, or people involved in human trafficking, etc. The employment relationship between suppliers and laborers shall be based on the voluntary agreement of both parties.
• Child/Minor labor: Suppliers shall not use child labor and protect the legal rights and interests of minor workers.
• Discrimination and discipline: Suppliers shall not discriminate against laborers on the basis of age, gender, pregnancy, religious beliefs, marital status, etc., and shall not discipline laborers for various unreasonable factors.
• Work hour and wage: Workers may not work more than the maximum hours required by local law, and all overtime must be voluntary. Suppliers should pay their workers in accordance with local regulations.
• Humane treatment: Suppliers are required to treat workers well and not to commit harsh inhumane acts such as violence, harassment, abuse, corporal punishment, mental or physical coercion, bullying, public humiliation, or verbal abuse against workers.
• Freedom of association: Suppliers shall respect the rights of employees to form and join unions voluntarily, bargain collectively and assemble peacefully, and refuse to participate in such activities in accordance with local laws.
• Occupational safety: Suppliers should identify, assess, and mitigate potential health and safety hazards that employees may encounter, and provide a safe workplace and environment for employees.
• Emergency preparation: Suppliers should identify and assess potential emergencies and incidents and implement emergency plans and response protocols to minimize their impact, including emergency reporting, worker notification, evacuation protocols, and worker training and drills.
• Work injury and illnesses: Suppliers should have procedures and systems in place to prevent, manage, track, and report employee injuries and illnesses, and to help employees return to work.
• Industrial hygiene: Suppliers should identify, evaluate, and control the hazards posed to employees by chemical, biological, and physical factors, take the initiative to eliminate or reduce potential hazards, and provide employees with appropriate personal protective equipment when necessary.
• Machine safety protection: Suppliers should conduct safety hazard assessments of production machinery and other machinery, and take relevant measures to reduce mechanical injuries, such as installing fool proofing devices.
• Health and safety communication: Suppliers should inform employees of the occupational safety and health hazards to which their jobs may be exposed, and provide training to employees in their native language or in a language they can understand.
• Environmental Permits and Reporting: Supplier shall obtain, keep current, and comply with all required environmental permits. Supplier shall comply with the reporting requirements of applicable permits and regulations.
• Prevent environmental pollution and conserve resources: Suppliers shall prevent, reduce and eliminate environmental pollution caused by harmful substances, and save resources during the production process. We encourage suppliers to participate in environmental protection projects and take measures to reduce the impact on the environment.
• Pollutant control: Suppliers shall responsibly identify, manage, reduce, dispose of or recycle waste water, gas, and solids generated during the production process. We encourage suppliers to carry out clean production and achieve zero landfill.
• Carbon emission reduction: Suppliers shall take stock of their carbon footprint regularly, formulate targets on greenhouse gas emission reduction, and take effective measures to reduce the consumption of energy, water, and natural resources and minimize greenhouse gas emissions.
• Hazardous Substances: Suppliers shall comply with all laws, regulations, and customer requirements on the substances (with recycling or disposal symbols) that are prohibited or restricted to use in the products or manufacturing processes.
• We have followed the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Mineral Supply Chains to establish and continuously improve our responsible minerals management system on the supply chain.
• We conduct routine due diligence on the minerals supply chain.
• We require suppliers to conduct source tracing and due diligence for the minerals or metal used in their purchased products to ensure that their sources comply with OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas or an equivalent and recognized due diligence framework.
