It's convenient to be able to use your phone as a modem to get online from anywhere, but what if your laptop doesn't have internet access but you need to transfer files or photos from your phone to the laptop? 1. Get your smartphone and go to settings.
2. Once in the setting app, click on the Wi-Fi and Network option
3. Look for the Hotspot and Tethering option. Once you have located it, press it.

5. In the features, press the Hotspot name and password. You can leave the name and password as is or set it.
6. Now, go to your laptop and search for a Wi-Fi connection.

If you are thinking about how to connect phone screen to laptop using a method that is not wireless, then using a USB is the answer. This way requires you to connect your laptop and phone through a cord, which will allow you to share the internet and transfer media.
Do the following steps to know how to connect phone to laptop with USB and share the internet.
1. Get your USB cable and connect it to your smartphone and laptop.
2. Click "Allow" on the pop-up that will appear.
3. After clicking "Allow," go to your phone's settings.
4. Look for the Wi-Fi Network option. Once you have located it, press it and click "Hotspot and Tethering."
5. Toggle in the USB tethering option.
6. After this, your laptop will be connected to your phone's internet.

2. In the notification bar, look for the notification that talks about USB charging. You can also directly go to the Android System via setting.
3. In the Android System, you will see the phrase "charging this device via cable." Change this by pressing the "options."
4. Once you press the "Options," you will be directed to a menu called USB preference. This menu will allow you to change the function of the connection from "charging" to "file transfer."
5. In the window that will pop up, look for the folder named "DCIM." Select that folder and from there, look for the things you want to access.
6. Look for the media or file you are looking for and start the transfer.

3. Transfer photos
Aside from files, you can also transfer photos and other media when your laptop and phone are connected.
