Phone/Tablet screen turns on automatically

1. Check whether the Raise to wake feature is enabled

Search for Wake device or Raise to wake in Settings to check whether the feature is enabled. If Wake device or Raise to wake is enabled, the screen will automatically turn on when you pick up your phone/tablet with the screen off. You can disable the feature by toggling off the switch.

Wake device or Raise to wake helps you quickly turn on the screen and unlock your phone/tablet with Face recognition when you pick up your phone/tablet. You can decide whether to enable the feature based on your preferences.

2. Check whether the Wake screen feature is enabled

Search for Notifications turn on screen in Settings to check whether the feature is enabled. If it is enabled, the screen will automatically turn on when you receive notifications. You can disable the feature by toggling off the switch.
