- The other party may be using a third-party app to make a VoIP call.
- The other party may be hiding the caller ID using a third-party app or some settings on the phone.
- The other party may have activated a carrier service to hide the caller ID when making calls.
- The other party may be making the call from another country/region where there are differences in communication standards between carriers. As a result, the caller ID service does not apply.
