Some functions do not work properly when Digital balance is enabled
Some functions do not work properly when Digital balance is enabled |
Issue:
After selecting My child in the Digital balance, The Users and PrivateSpace menus are no longer shown, and some functions stop working.
Cause:
To prevent students from bypassing parental monitoring, the following functions will be restricted when My child mode is on.
- Change system time
- Turn on Developer options
- Clear parental settings data
- The Users menu will not be shown
- Enter engineering mode with PIN
- Use ADB commands (Android Debug Bridge, i.e. Android debugging command)
- Enter PrivateSpace
- Backup and recovery (data backups are available for the time specified in the Digital balance)
- Screen pinning (Security > More settings > Screen pinning. Disabled in My child mode only)
- Download apps
- Install apps
- Connect to Honor Suite
- Access to some websites
- Clear Honor Browser history, traceless browsing and more
Solution:
If you need to use the above-mentioned functions, please turn off Digital Balance first:
- Go to Screen time management.
- If "Me" was selected when turning this feature on, then a password will not be required to turn it off.
- If “My child” was selected when turning this feature on, then a password must be set and required when turning Digital balance or Screen time management off.
and turn off
