The video recording becomes blurry and goes out of focus for a while
The video recording becomes blurry and goes out of focus for a while |
Problem
- After switching to video mode, it takes a few seconds for the camera to focus.
- When no action is performed during the recording, the image becomes blurry suddenly and then becomes clear, or remains blurry afterward.
- The video becomes blurry after a slight movement during recording, and then becomes clear, or remains blurry afterward.
- The camera frequently performs autofocus during video recording.
The preceding issues often occur while the camera works correctly in Photo mode, is slow to focus, or fails to auto-switch to super macro mode.
Solution
- If you are using a non-original protective case or a protective film on or around the camera, remove the protective case and protective film, wipe the camera and surrounding area with a clean soft cloth in one direction, and then restart your phone to check whether the issue is resolved.
Suggestions
- There may be an infrared laser focus component around the rear camera. Do not block the rear camera or the surrounding area. Wipe the lens with a clean soft cloth before shooting to avoid blurring and lens flare.
- Use the default mode at night or in low light. When zooming or using other special effects, the camera may not be able to produce the best results.
- If you touch the viewfinder during a video recording, the camera will lock the focal length to avoid unstable images during scene or location changes. You may need to touch the viewfinder to manually re-focus during the recording.
- To allow the camera to focus automatically, do not touch the viewfinder during the recording. Place the object you want to shoot in the center of the viewfinder.
