Honor Trademarks

Honor Trademarks herein refer to any word marks, figurative marks, combined trademarks, logos, taglines, slogans, trade dresses or other brand source indicators owned by Honor Device Co., Ltd or its subsidiaries (Collectively as “Honor Company”) to identify and distinguish Honor Company as the source of its products or services.

Honor Trademarks List is a non-exhaustive list of Honor Trademarks owned by Honor Company registered in China. That Honor Trademarks not being listed below does not constitute a waiver of Honor Trademark rights or other intellectual property rights.

Honor Trademarks List

Applicable Scope

Honor Company Trademark Policy (herein referred to as “Policy”) applies to Honor Company’s trademark licensees, trademark authorized users, authorized resellers, contractors, customers, and other parties who would like to use Honor Trademarks in marketing materials, promotional materials, advertising materials, instructional or reference materials, products, labels, packaging, etc. Without prior written permission of Honor Company, any use of Honor Trademarks for commercial purposes will possibly constitute trademark infringement, unfair competition, or other illegal activities. If you would like to apply for Honor Trademark Authorization, please send an email to trademark@honor.com.

If you are licensees or authorized users of one or more of Honor Trademarks and have been provided with special trademark usage guidelines in license agreements, authorization letters or other relevant agreements, please follow those guidelines. If the aforementioned documents do not provide any trademark usage guidelines, please follow this Policy.

Honor Trademarks are valuable intangible assets of Honor Company. You should help us protect our trademark rights and strengthen our corporate and brand identities while following this Policy. By using Honor Trademarks, you acknowledge that Honor Company is the sole owner of Honor Trademarks and warrant that you will not interfere with Honor Trademarks rights, including but not limited to challenge Honor Company’s use, registration of, or application to register the Honor Trademarks, or its combined trademarks with other words and logos, around the world, and that you will not harm, misuse, bring into disrepute, take or omit to take any action that could dilute or adversely affect any of Honor Trademarks, Honor Company’s ownership thereof or any related goodwill.

Under this Policy, except for the limited right to use as expressly permitted, no other rights of any kind or nature are granted hereunder, either express or implied.

Prohibited Use

Without prior written permission from Honor Company, the following are prohibited:

a). Use or register Honor Trademarks or its confusingly similar trademarks as or as part of your trademarks, company names, trade names, names of offline or online shops, product names, or service names, technology names, website names, program names or domain names, or other commercial names of social networks such as WeChat and Weibo, etc.

b). Shorten, abbreviate, misspell, or otherwise change Honor Trademarks in any way and in case you are authorized or approved to use them by Honor Company. (You should always use Honor Trademarks according to the spelling and capitalizing of Honor Trademarks exactly as they are shown in the Honor Trademarks List and HONOR VISUAL IDENTITY GUIDELINES https://www.honor.com/global/brand-guideline/basics/logo/.)

c). Use any of Honor Trademarks in a disparaging manner.

d). Use any of Honor Trademarks on promotional free gifts or give-away merchandise items, such as notebooks, cups, umbrellas, bags, etc.

Correct Use Rules

a) As adjectives, trademarks may not be used in the plural or possessive form.

For example:

● Not Correct:

HONORS

HONOR’S

b) Honor Trademarks can only be used with product or service names and an appropriate generic term must appear after the trademark the first time it appears in the text, and as often as is reasonable after that.

For example:

● Correct: I bought two HONOR Magic 4 smartphones.

● Not Correct: I bought two HONOR Magic 4.

c) Do not create any new logo for Honor Company or its product names.

Trademark Notice and Attribution

As for distribution within China only

a) On products, product packages, marketing materials, advertising materials, promotional materials, or service documentation, or other kinds of product or service communications that will be distributed only in China, the first time Honor Trademarks appear in the aforementioned material the Honor Trademarks should be followed by the symbol: TM for un-registered trademarks, or ® for registered trademarks. Generally, the symbol appears in the upper-right corner of the trademark. When you use more than one trademarks together, the symbols should be used in the upper-right corner for every trademark.

b) Include one of the following attributions of Honor Company’s ownership of its trademarks on your product, product packages, advertising materials, promotional materials, product or service documentation, or other product or service communication. For example,

● HONOR and 荣耀 are registered trademarks of Honor Device Co., Ltd in China.

As for distribution outside China

a) Unless otherwise expressly prior written authorized by Honor Company, please do not use trademark symbols (TM, ®) on product, product packages, advertising materials, promotional materials, product or service documentation, or other product or service communication that will be distributed outside China. If you need to use trademark symbols outside China, please firstly contact with trademark@honor.com.

b) Include one of the following international trademark notices:

● HONOR is trademark of Honor Device Co., Ltd registered in China and other countries.

● HONOR is trademark of Honor Device Co., Ltd.
