Problem
Images added to Favorites Space through Magic Portal, Three-finger Global Favorites, and Share do not appear in Gallery.
Images already present in Files and Gallery, after being added to Favorites Space, appear in Gallery as usual.
Cause
This is a new specification feature introduced to the latest update to MagicOS to maintain data uniqueness. Consequently, when images are added to Favorites Space, they will not be duplicated to Gallery.
Solution
To save images to Gallery, you have the following options:
- Save Favorites Space images to Gallery
Within Favorites Space, tap the image you want to save and then press the Save button to store it directly in Gallery. Alternatively, you can select the image(s) you want to save within Favorites Space, then tap Share/Export >Save.
- Use Three-Finger Screenshot
Go to to enable the Three-finger screenshot feature. Once done, you can take a screenshot by swiping down with three fingers, which will automatically save the image to Gallery.
