How to Backup WhatsApp's data to HONOR Device

Problem

How to Backup WhatsApp's data to HONOR Device.

Solution

If the old device is an GMS phone, it can be backed up in the following ways：
Step 1: Refer your old device choose Whatsapp App and click in

Step 2: click the 3 dot and choose setting, click Chats then select Chat backup

Step 3: On the Chat backup page click Backup and wait for backup complete

Step 4: Download whatsapp on your new device (HONOR)

Step 5: Launch the app and log in, follow the app prompts to import old phone data
If Scheme 1 cannot be solved, it can be backed up in the following ways：
Step 1: Download whatsapp on your new device (HONOR). (Do not click the whatsapp App after download)

Step 2: Remove google account from HONOR device. (Setting > User & Account > Google > Select Remove)

Step 3: Go to setting > Apps > Apps > search Whatsapp, then click choose permission and allow all the Permission

Step 4: Refer your old device choose Whatsapp App and click in

Step 5: click the 3 dot and choose setting, click Chats then select Chat backup

Step 6: On the Chat backup page click Backup and wait for backup complete

Step 7: Old device scroll down on top open – Huawei Share, new HONOR device same open HONOR Share

Step 8: Old device Go to Files > Choose Phone storage and Find Whatsapp File > Databases

Step 9: Select the file inside databased and click share and share to New Device (HONOR)

Step 10: New Device “Accept” and received, File will share under HONOR Share file

Step 11: Choose the file and click “MOVE” , select “Android” folder > select “Media”

Step 12: Choose “com.whatsapp” > “Whatsapp” > create “New Folder”

Step 13: New Folder name must same name with old device: “Databases”

Step 14: If done create then move the file into the Databases folder

Step 15: New Device choose whatsapp app and click inside > verify phone details and choose backup restore
